The Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned comedian Bill Cosby’s sexual assault conviction.

The court said on Wednesday that it found that an agreement with the former prosecutor prevented him from being charged in the case. Cosby, 83, served more than two years in a state prison near Philadelphia. He vowed to serve his 10-year sentence instead of admitting any remorse for what happened in 2004.

Cosby, once known as “American Dad”, was charged in 2015 when a prosecutor arrested him with new evidence a few days before the 12-year statute of limitations expired.
