Fearing that schools will be forced to close, student cases have soared to the highest level since January.
The number of school outbreaks has jumped from 96 to 148, an increase of 54%.
According to the “Sunday Times” report, as Covid cases continue to rise, tens of thousands of cubs have been sent home for quarantine.
Due to “potential contact” with an infected person in the first week of June, approximately 214,000 students self-isolated at home, and 16,100 students were absent from school last week.
Of the 214,000 children who are out of school, only 9,000 have confirmed cases of the virus.
