Regina-On July 11, Saskatchewan will remove all public health restrictions-including masks and gathering restrictions.

The government announced the news on Sunday because 70% of people 18 years of age and older received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, and 69% of all residents 12 years of age and older received the first dose of vaccine.

In a video posted on Twitter, Governor Scott Moe stated that the province will reach the final threshold in the next few days.

The government previously stated that although it is no longer necessary to wear masks under public health orders, people can still wear masks according to their comfort level, and the requirements may take effect in the workplace and be determined by business owners.
