There are currently 1,300 young people under the age of 18 in Mensa, a high IQ society, and their IQ ranks in the top 98% in terms of intelligence.
This means that they all have an IQ of at least 132; the average IQ in the UK is 100.
Mensa shared 17 typical behaviors found in gifted children, ranging from good memory to a little control freak.
Another sign may be that they start reading very early and have a good sense of humor.
Children under the age of 10 and a half are not allowed to take the entrance examination in Mensa, but parents can use different forms of evidence to apply for it.
