The light of the people in Malvern begins Drive-in concert series Last summer, let people have something to do during the pandemic.

The series proved to be very popular and will return from June to September in 2021.

Tickets for each outdoor concert are US$75 per car and can accommodate up to 5 passengers, excluding children under 12 years old.

When entering, each vehicle is allocated a parking space and adjacent space for lawn chairs. Concert audiences are required to arrive 30 minutes before the performance in order to arrange in their designated space.

The concert will be held in the rear parking lot of the People’s Light campus. Musicians will perform on a high stage at the back of the venue. Most shows will run for 75-90 minutes.

Throughout the summer, the drive-through series will feature a series of bands and musicians. Erin McKeown, Ali Awan and The John Byrne Band are the first three acts announced.

There will also be a special folklore weekend On July 24th and July 25th, six bands performed on two stages in two days. The day ticket is US$175 per car and can accommodate up to 5 passengers. Jazz weekends are also scheduled to be held later in the summer.

Food and drinks for the show can be from Farmhouse of People’s Light, Located next door. Specific instructions will be emailed to concert ticket holders with a 10% discount code. The farmhouse is also open for outdoor dining from Thursday to Sunday, and there is live music at 6:30 pm on Thursdays
