Army officer Mohamed Adan said the bombers behind the attack on Tuesday were disguised as recruits lined up outside General Degobadan’s barracks at the time of the explosion.

“I counted about 15 recruits who were killed in the explosion,” he said, adding that the death toll could be higher.

According to Reuters, the injured were taken to the Medina Hospital in Mogadishu.
