13 Philadelphia area companies enter the 2021 Fortune 500
In 2020, the revenue of Fortune 500 companies is as high as US$13.8 trillion, accounting for about two-thirds of the US economy. In an unusual year interrupted by the unstable impact of the coronavirus pandemic, some industries performed better than others, but the Philadelphia area once again performed well in Fortune’s 2021 rankings.
It’s the 67th year, Fortune 500 U.S. listed companies are ranked according to the annual income of their respective fiscal years.
The 2021 list includes 13 companies from the greater Philadelphia area, most of which have improved their rankings from the previous Fortune 500.
