San Diego (CNS)-The San Diego Police Department said on Sunday that ten motorists were arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at a sobriety checkpoint in Mission Bay.

According to San Diego police officer Anthony Obregon, the checkpoint is at 4200 Mission Bay Boulevard from 9pm Saturday to 2am Sunday.

The official said that of the 2,661 cars that passed the checkpoint, 990 cars were inspected and 11 drivers were evaluated.

Obregon said a driver was extradited for driving without a license or having his or her driving license revoked.

He said that eleven vehicles were impounded.
