21 outstanding local teachers have won the “Heart of the Castle” learning award, including 3 award winners

End of a school year, different Castle Credit Union May 20 (Thursday) awarded to 21 teachers of Greater Philadelphia to commemorate

Castle Heart Learning Award

Announced-including three grand prize winners.

The grand prize winners are:

• Michelle Sinnamon
Manavon Elementary School (Primary School) in Phoenix
• Dian McKinney

Member of Kennett High School (Secondary), Kennett County
•Stephanie Shrake

Comment on Avon Grove High School by Evan Grove (High School)

In addition to being commended at the awards ceremony, all 21 teachers also received glassblowing heart awards and $500 in classroom spending. The grand prize winners each received a prize of US$1,500, as well as a unique, brightly colored grand prize glass blown heart.

Teachers from Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties were recognized after being nominated by students, peers, parents and school administrators.Started 20 years ago, with

(CCIU), this award is designed to recognize educators who have shown dedication both inside and outside the classroom and who truly exceed their responsibilities. This has never been more important or more real than the direct impact of the flu pandemic in the 2020-2021 school year.
