SpringFest of the Philadelphia Film Association is back again as a face-to-face event in 2021.

The film festival extends from the typical three-day, weekend-only format to June 11 (Friday) to June 17 (Thursday). PFS Exchange In the old town.

SpringFest is an opportunity to watch new movies on the International Film Festival circuit.

The festival will be marked with “Summer of Soul“This is the debut work of Philly’s Ahmar “Questlove” Thompson directed. It won the Jury Award and Audience Award at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.

The documentary includes unprecedented concert performances by Steve Wonder, Nina Simone, Sly and the Family Stone, Gladys Knight and Pipa, Ray Barreto, Abbey Lincoln and Max Roach.

All passes for the festival Will start selling Friday, May 21. Individual tickets will be sold to PFS members on May 28 (Friday), and on sale to the public on May 31 (Monday).

All visit badges are US$55 and PFS members are US$45. Individual tickets are $13 and PFS members are $9.
