A black Chevy matching the description of Cristhian Rivera’s car was allegedly seen circling the area where Mollie Tibbetts was killed on July 18, 2018.

Tibbetts was brutally attacked and killed while going for her routine jog in the small, 1,700-person town of Brooklyn in Iowa on July 18, 2018.

An autopsy report found Tibbetts had been stabbed seven to 12 times in the chest, ribs, neck, and skull.

PROSECUTORS SURE THAT RIVERA KILLED TIBBETTS

Prosecutors delivered opening statements in the trial against Cristhian Bahena Rivera on Wednesday.

Rivera stands accused of the murder of 20-year-old college student Mollie Tibbetts.

“When you put this evidence together, there can be no other conclusion than that the defendant killed Mollie Tibbetts,” Poweshiek County Attorney Bart Klaver said, according to CNN.

LAWYER ALLEGES MOLLIE TIBBETTS’ BOYFRIEND CHEATED ON HER PRIOR TO HER DEATH

At the Mollie Tibbetts trial on Wednesday, prosecutor Chad Frese asked her boyfriend, Dalton Jack, why he neglected to tell law enforcement that he “had an affair” with another woman before she was killed.

“Mollie was upset that you cheated on her, correct?” he asked.

Dalton previously told the defense lawyer that he didn’t think those details were relevant to the case and that Tibbetts knew about his infidelity and they worked through it.

Frese also questioned the young man about a second woman Dalton said he had a relationship with “simultaneous to starting” one with Tibbetts.
