Now, parts of the UK may have rained for half a month in just two hours

Parts of England and Wales may see as much as 30 mm of rain in two hours, which is almost half of the average monthly rainfall in May.

A forecaster from the Metropolitan Office told The Sun Online: “Tomorrow will be another heavy thunderstorm, so most places will start raining this week, and it will actually continue until Tuesday.

“The strongest showers will be concentrated in the east, but most parts of England and Wales are likely to experience heavy rain.

“Any place is at risk of thunder and hail.”

The rest of the month appears to be a scouring, as the UK may also be hit by strong winds of 60 miles per hour and 25-foot waves hitting the southwest coast and possibly snow in Scotland.
