San Diego-Earlier on Monday, authorities found a climbing boat with a capacity of 24 people near the shore of Sunset Cliffs, which led to a multi-agency response.

San Diego lifeguards told FOX 5 that they received a call from the U.S. Coast Guard at 3:40 in the morning saying that a ship had broken down near the coastline. The lifeguard responded with a rescue boat near the 1100 block of Sunset Cliffs.

The lifeguard said that when the authorities arrived, 24 people were already on the panga. The Coast Guard responded that there were two ships in the area in the water. The video showed that the border patrol was also patrolled at the scene.

It is expected that 24 people on board will be taken to coast guard knives for processing.
