Pro-Palestinian, pro-Israel protesters clash in Montreal
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau condemned what he called “sordid rhetoric and violence” because of the clashes between pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian protesters during a demonstration in Montreal.

A Palestinian reported injury
Safwat al-Kahlout of Al Jazeera reported from the Gaza Strip that a Palestinian was treated for minor injuries at Shifa Hospital.
There were no reports of other injuries, and the Associated Press said there was little information on the extent of the damage caused in the Gaza Strip earlier on Monday.
Israel strikes at “air bases, training camps” linked to Palestinian groups

US President Biden said that his government is working with Palestinians and Israelis to achieve continued calm.
He said in a videotape broadcast during Sunday’s celebration of the Muslim Eid al-Fitr holiday: “We also believe that Palestinians and Israelis should also enjoy safety and security, and an equal degree of freedom, prosperity and democracy.”
“My government will continue to engage with Palestinians and Israelis and other regional partners in an effort to achieve sustained calm.”
