Kane tells Cristiano Ronaldo’s doubts about the future of Juventus

Steve Bruce hinted that the returning toon army might force him to leave Newcastle.

The manager is still very popular among Newcastle fans and they will return to St James’ Park to participate in next week’s clash with Sheffield United.

When asked about facing angry supporters, he said: “We are always a short distance from this situation. This is something I really need to think about.

“This will cause damage to football clubs and players.

“We try to keep them away from all these situations, but if this hinders them, that’s one thing I have to consider.”

Bruce, 60, was asked directly on talkSPORT if he would continue to control his future after the summer.

The boss of Hi Pies added: “It’s up to others to decide.

“Most clubs will have heated discussions and look back at the season. I am a football player and it is too early to retire.

“However, I believe these conversations will take place in the next few weeks.”
