Dallas, TX November 22, 2016 – The Dallas Morning News has named the law firm Eberstein & Witherite, LLP one of the winners of the Top 100 Places To Work. This is the second consecutive year that the firm has received this honor.
More than 2,000 companies applied this year, and 307 were surveyed to determine the final 100. The competition was stiff, and less than half of the companies appearing in this year’s list were repeat winners from last year. The process began in March 2016, when employees were allowed to nominate their company online.
“I’m so proud that we were chosen as one of the best places to work,” stated Amy Witherite, founding partner of the law firm. “We think of our team as a family, and for them to believe so much in what we do, and to draw satisfaction and pride about the services we can provide our clients is just a tremendous honor. I was amazed when we appeared on the list for the first time last year, and to repeat this year means that we are continuing to do things the right way, and that our staff recognizes our commitment to our clients.”
Employees of participating companies were contacted via email and asked to measure how true 22 short statements were about their organizations, such as: “My job makes me feel like I am part of something meaningful.” They were also asked to rate their companies based on categories such as diversity, perks, ethics, and family friendliness.
Employees of the 100 companies that made the list will attended a luncheon on November 17, where the top three companies in each category were announced. The Dallas Morning News published the winners on November 20, 2016.
