Los Angeles – A man who allegedly broke into the home of actress Sandra Bullock has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges. WebProNews reports Joshua James Corbett, 39, who was arrested in connection with the incident last year, has been charged with stalking, burglary, possession of a machine gun, and other counts.

Bullock called 911 after hearing the suspect in her Los Angeles home. Police found multiple weapons at his home during a search following his arrest. He was also carrying a letter and photos of the actress on him at the time of his arrest. One line of letter reportedly reads, “You are very special to me and without you in my life there is only misery.”

A court hearing related to Corbett’s case has been set for June 8. If convicted of the charges, he could face up to 20 years in prison.

Corbett’s attorney has labeled him as “mentally disturbed” claiming that he “never intended to hurt” Bullock.
