California – GOP candidate, Neel Kashkari, who is running for Governor of California, recently released policy proposals that include tax breaks for companies that move to California. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Kashkari said he planned to use his experience in overseeing the bank bailout during the financial crisis that occurred while he was a U.S. Treasury official to overcome divisions between parities in the state capital.

As noted in the report, Kashkari is raising money hoping to advance to the general election in November.

The proposal is quoted as reading, “Neel will champion CEQA reform that ends abusive lawsuits and provides process certainty to all, not just well-connected interests that are able to win the special favor of the governor and powerful legislators.”
