Hopewell, NJ — A four-vehicle crash involving a school bus left five people injured on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012. The automobile accident occurred around 8:32 a.m. on Hopewell-Princeton Road and Crusher Road, 6ABC.com reports.

According to reports, the Hopewell Valley Regional School District school bus was headed north on Hopewell-Princeton Road when it made a left turn onto Crusher Road. The bus subsequently hit the passenger’s side by a Honda Civic traveling south on Hopewell-Princeton Road, operated by Heather Haynes, 36, of Blairstown. The impact caused the bus to spin and turn over on the driver’s side, before coming to a rest on the hood of a Hyundai Elantra that was stopped on Crusher Road at the intersection.

The Hyundai was being operated by Bridgid Finn, 34, of Hopewell.

Haynes’ vehicle spun around into the northbound lane of Hopewell-Princeton Road, where it was struck by a northbound Toyota Highlander driven by Magdalena Fiedosiuk, 32, of Baltimore.

Responding emergency crews transported five people to Capitol Health System hospital in Hopewell Township for medical attention.

The Hopewell Fire Department, Pennington Fire Department and Union (Titusville) Fire Department, along with emergency medical units from Hopewell, Pennington, Hopewell Valley Emergency Services and Princeton all responded to the scene.

Investigations are underway.
