Rosendale, NY – A motorcyclist ticketed for speeding recently was stated to have been driving at nearly 200 miles per hour. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), an officer clocked the 28-year-old man, Anthony Anderson, at 193 miles per hour before issuing him citations.

As noted by the AP, Anderson was driving on Interstate 87, when he was spotted by a trooper while speeding at the excessively high rate. Another driver was reportedly seen speeding at 166 mph in the same area this month as well.

Anderson, who purportedly told troopers who stopped him in Rosendale that he was on his way to visit a patient in the hospital at the time, was given 14 tickets during the traffic stop.
