Racine County, WI — A construction accident killed a 27-year-old Racine man Friday afternoon, January 27, 2012, when he fell from a roof at the Mequon Country Club. The fatal construction accident occurred just after 2:40 p.m. at 12400 N. Villa Du Parc Drive, reported JSOnline.com.

Celso Huitron-Loyo, 27, was doing carpentry work on the building when he fell for unknown reasons from the upper portion of the structure at the Ozaukee County construction site.

It was not reported if Huitron-Loyo was wearing a safety harness at the time.

The Journal Times reported that Huitron-Loyo died instantly. His body is being sent back to Mexico for burial.

Investigations into the cause of the construction accident are ongoing. The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will also be joining in on the investigation efforts.
