Mount Kisco Woman Hit by Unmarked NY State Police Sergeant Vehicle

Mount Kisco, NY — An unmarked car driven by a state police sergeant hit a village woman, landing her in the intensive care unit Wednesday morning, January 18, 2012. The collision occurred at 10:15 a.m., as the woman was crossing West Main Street (Route 133) near Maple Avenue, reported LoHud.com.

A 2006 Chevrolet Impala driven by Sgt. Joseph Crispino, who is assigned to security for state officials, hit dolce M. Perez, 22, while she was crossing the street. Crispino was reportedly making a left turn from Maple Avenue onto Main Street when he hit Perez.

Perez was rushed to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla to be evaluated for a head injury. She is currently in the medical center’s Intensive Care Unit.

Crispino was not injured in the crash.

The New York State Police are investigating the accident.
