Eustis, FL — A 14-year-old boy was killed Thanksgiving weekend when two personal watercrafts collided in Lake County. The fatal crash occurred on Sunday afternoon, November 27, 2011, around 3 p.m. on Lake Joanna, reported WESH Orlando.

According to police, Nicholas Polk, 14, of Mount Dora, was killed in the wreck.

Polk was among three other teens that were riding two watercrafts on the lake. The two watercrafts were reportedly headed towards one another, when one turned left and the other veered right, hitting each other side by side.
