Jackson County, FL — A north Florida couple is in a Jackson County jail for allegedly arranging sex between her husband and a 12-year-old girl in hopes of getting her pregnant in order to receive extra state benefits, reports FOX News.

According to reports, Alicia Ann Bouchard, 41, of Jackson County, allegedly arranged sex between the minor and her 26-year-old husband, Matthew Bouchard. The unidentified girl reportedly has already been sexually active with the man, while in the presence of his wife.

The complaint revealed that Alicia told the girl “the worst that could happen is you would get pregnant.”

The idea behind the arranged and illegal sexual encounters was for the husband to impregnate the girl so that she could claim additional benefits from the state.

Alicia was arrested and is facing charges of being a principal to sexual battery, soliciting sexual activity with a child, and being a principal to child abuse in the case.

Matthew is also facing charges of sexual battery on a child 12 years of age.

Both Alicia and Matthew are being held in a Jackson County jail.
