Orlando, FL — Fifteen people were treated for injuries in the Orlando area after being involved in two separate Lynx bus crashes on Wednesday, July 13, 2011. The first Lynx bus crashed at the intersection of North Orange Blossom Trail and Rosamond Drive, while the second wreck occurred at Orange Blossom Trail and Fudge Road, reported Central Florida News 13.

In the first Lynx bus crash, Colleen Foster, 51, rear-ended the Lynx bus when it stopped to unload its passengers. Responding emergency crews treated eight bus passengers for minor injuries.

Foster was rushed to Florida Hospital in serious condition. The Florida Highway Patrol said careless driving charges are pending against Foster.

The second Lynx bus crash was caused when a car slammed into the rear of the bus.

Responding rescue crews had to cut open part of the wrecked car in order to free its passengers.

Six bus passengers were injured as a result of the rear-end collision.

The FHP is looking into the cause of the crash.
