Miami, FL — Mexican singer and actress Paulina Rubio was arrested after crashing her BMW into another vehicle near Miami’s Little Havana on Saturday, June 25, 2011, reported E! Online.

According to officials, Rubio landed in handcuffs following a verbal confrontation with Miami police.

The arrest report indicated that Rubio was asked to step out of her vehicle, in which she refused and began cursing at an officer at the scene. Rubio yelled: “All of you Miami cops are abusive.”

Rubio refused the officer’s requests to get out of her car and started to “frantically” make phone calls in a “very agitated” state, and told the cop—“I’m not getting out of the car!”

“What the f–k do you want me to do? I just had an accident and I’m very nervous. That’s why people don’t like you because all you Miami cops are abusive,” Rubio yelled to Miami police.

As Rubio became more aggressive and frantic behind the wheel of her car, police began to worry about everyone’s safety.

Rubio continued to yell and then refused to get out of harms way and onto the sidewalk.

Rubio was ultimately handcuffed and put into the patrol car as she yelled, “Help! Help! I didn’t do anything! Look what they’re doing! Help! Abusers! You bunch of liars! Help!”

Rubio was charged with refusing to obey a lawful command. Due to an “extenuating circumstance,” she was not taken into custody, because she needed to breastfeed her baby.

Rubio has been ordered to appear in court for a charge of disorderly conduct, obstruction of justice and refusal to obey a lawful command.
