Johnstown, PA — A reality television crew member has died following the helicopter crash in an Indiana borough last month, while filming a reality television show called “Campus PD.” Gregory Allen Jacobsen, 33, of Ontario, Canada was pronounced dead at 6:59 a.m. at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, reported the Post-Gazette.

Jacobsen was a member of a film crew that was shooting video of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania campus for a “Campus PD” reality show. The television show captures college life through the eyes of late-nigh shift police officers.

While the crew was filming, the helicopter was flying around some apartment buildings when it fell to the ground at around 8:30 p.m. for unknown reasons.

The helicopter just missed some students who were watching the chopper hover above them before it crashed.

The Cambria County Coroner’s Office stated Jacobsen died from multiple traumatic injuries suffered in the April 30 crash.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating the helicopter crash.
