1 Dead, 1 Injured after Falling from Window of Moving Bus

Shirley, MA — Two men fell from a bathroom window on a moving bus, leaving one man dead and another seriously injured on Saturday, April 2, 2011. The bus was on Route 2 in Shirley, as it was returning from a beer-tasting tour that night, reported The Boston Channel.

According to police officials, Thomas Johnson of Gardner and Seth David of Winchendon were fighting when they fell from the bathroom window on the bus.

Police found both men lying in the breakdown lane of Route 2.

Responding emergency crews pronounced Johnson dead at the scene, while Davis was rushed to University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester for treatment of serious injuries. He is currently listed in stable condition.

The bus was returning to Gardner from a trip to the Red Hook Brewery in Portsmouth, N.H. when the accident occurred.

Police officials interviewed the people on the bus and investigations are ongoing.
