Los Angeles, CA—Autopsy results show the 2-year-old boy who plummeted 50-feet from a luxury box suite at the Staples Center died from massive head injuries and multiple traumatic injuries. Lucas Anthony tang fell on Sunday, November 21, 2010 after the Lakers defeated the Warriors, as reported by Boston.com.

Officials have released little details, which led to the fall, but they did say the boy’s family was taking pictured when “somehow the child went over the edge of the section.”

As previously reported in “Boy, 2, Fell 50-feet to his Death at Staples Center Following Lakers Game,” Tang was rushed by responding emergency medical crews to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, where he tragically succumbed to his life-threatening injuries.

Tang fell from the third-level luxury box and landed 50-feet below in a row of seats. The boy was reportedly moving his arms, legs and head before being whisked away by the paramedics.

LAPD’s abused-child unit is conducting a full investigation into the fatal accident.
