Pueblo, CO—A rollover accident on Sunday, November 14, 2010, left Colorado City mother dead and injured the father and their four children. The fatal automobile accident occurred on Interstate 25, about six miles south of Pueblo at around 11:20 a.m., as reported by the Pueblo Chieftain.

The Colorado State Patrol reported a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country minivan was traveling northbound on Interstate 25, when the vehicle veered off the left side of the highway. The driver, Aaron Falke, 32, overcorrected, which caused the minivan to turn clockwise, hit a mile-marker post and roll 2 ½ times before coming to a stop on its roof.

Responding emergency crews rushed to the scene, where Nicole Clemans was pronounced dead.

Falke, a 6-week-old boy and three girls, ages 6, 8 and 11, were all rushed to Parkview Medical Center for treatment.

Falke reported sustained serious injuries, while the infant sustained moderate injuries and the three girls suffered minor injuries.

Police officials stated that the 8- and 11-year-old girls were unrestrained in the van, and were subsequently ejected from the vehicle.

Falke and Clemans were married and are the parents of the children.

A full investigation is underway.
