West Palm Beach, FL—An unfortunate motorcycle accident resulted in one casualty and slowed traffic to a crawl before 7 a.m. Tuesday morning, October 19, 2010. The deadly motorcycle crash occurred in the eastbound lanes of Okeechobee Boulevard, in close proximity to Benoist Farms Boulevard, according to information provided by the Palm Beach Post.

West Palm Beach Police Sgt. Matthew Bessette reported a motorcyclist, believed to be in his 20s, was speeding along the eastbound lanes of Okeechobee Blvd. when he lost control of his bike. The motorcycle subsequently careened into a ditch, causing the rider to be ejected.
