Las Vegas, NV—A two-vehicle collision involving a school bus and a SUV left two people dead on Wednesday, October 6, 2010. The fatal automobile collision occurred just before noon on Decatur Boulevard between Lone Mountain Road and La Madre Way in the northeast valley, as reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

According to police officials, the school bus was traveling northbound when a Lincoln Aviator crossed over the centerline and slammed into the bus.

A passenger in the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene by responding emergency crews. The driver of the SUV was rushed to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Police only identified the victims as two 22-year-old men.

Two people on the bus, identified as Cedric Doolittle, 40, and Betty price, who is a Clark County School District employee, were injured in the wreck. They were also taken to University Medical Center for treatment of “moderate injuries.”

Police officials are conducting a full investigation into the wreck.
