Los Angeles, CA– R&B Musician Brandy has wrapped herself up in another lawsuit, but this time its with house music artist, Marc Mysterio. The lawsuit is seeking an upwards of $6 million dollars after Brandy allegedly broke her contract and failed to perform, as reported by Pop Eater.

The multi-million dollar lawsuit was filed on Monday, August 23, 2010 in the Central District of the Los Angeles Superior Court.

According to the lawsuit, Brandy was paid $10,000 to contribute 16-bar verses under her rap alter-ego, Bran’Nu, to Mysterio’s forthcoming debut album, ‘Redemption.’ When it finally came time to deliver Brandy’s end of the deal, her manager and cousin Ryan Ramsey had some bad news.

Ramsey allegedly said, “Yo Marc, listen, we just had a meeting with Universal and we tryin’ to wrap up her new album deal with them and we have an issue now cuz we went over all the features she had lined up and they won’t sign the deal with us if she follows through on your song cause they don’t want her rapping over a dance record since they weren’t happy with how her Bran’Nu tracks on Timbaland’s album went down, so we gotta back out on this one.”

The lawsuit is seeking between $1 and $6 million for damages which include loss of income, damage to reputation and inability to replace her with equal or better talent.
