Los Angeles, CA—A two-vehicle collision in downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 left several people injured. A Metro bus and a truck collided around 12:15 a.m., at the intersection of Hill and Temple streets, as reported by ABC Go Local KABC-TV.

According to officials, the Metro bus was traveling northbound on Hill Street when it collided in the intersection with a truck that was headed east on Temple Street. The impact of the crash caused the bus to hit a traffic pole, and then a gate.

Responding emergency crews rushed a total of nine people to area hospitals for treatment. The driver of the truck was taken to a nearby hospital as well. Officials described the injuries as “minor.”

Police officers are still looking into what caused the crash. Both drivers claim that they had the green light at the time of the wreck.
