Dallas, TX– A one-vehicle crash on U.S. 380 killed one man and critically injured three others on Sunday, June 27, 2010. The fatal wreck occurred about 2:30 a.m., at U.S. 380 and E. Rock Hill Road in Crossroads in Denton County, as reported by the Star-Telegram.

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a Ford Explorer was traveling eastbound on U.S. 380 when the driver tried to turn north on E. Rock Hill Road and lost control. The SUV then hit a guardrail, causing the SUV to overturn.

The driver of the SUV, Javier Millan, 41, of Crossroads was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two male passengers were rushed to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas for treatment of their injuries. A female was taken to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton with critical injuries.

A fifth person apparently hid from authorities while at the scene. He was taken to a Denton hospital in a private vehicle with minor injuries where officials alerted the police.

A full investigation into the fatal wreck is currently underway. It is unknown if drugs and/or alcohol were factors.
