Las Vegas, NV—A two-vehicle accident left five people injured on Sunday, June 27, 2010. Metro Police stated that the accident occurred at the intersection of Washington Avenue and 21st Street at around 1:20 a.m., as reported by the Las Vegas Sun.

Metro Police reported a 1997 Ford Mustang was headed northbound on 21st Street when an eastbound 1996 Chevrolet Suburban collided with the Mustang at the intersection of Washington Avenue. The Chevrolet apparently entered the intersection and hit the left side of the Ford.

The driver of the Chevrolet, Alexander Taylor, 48, was rushed to University Medical Center by responding emergency crews for treatment of moderate injuries. Three teen passengers in the Ford were rushed to the medical center as well. Their injuries were not disclosed.

The driver of the Ford, Salvador Bravo, 20, was hospitalized with serious injuries. The types of injuries or his condition was not disclosed.

The injurious crash is currently under investigation. No citations have been issued in connection with the wreck at this time.

Other details surrounding the two-vehicle accident were not readily available.
