Sumter County, FL—An unfortunate collision between a sport utility vehicle and pickup truck resulted in two casualties and left two others seriously injured. The wreck occurred on Sunday evening, June 20, 2010, according to information provided by the Ledger.

A Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report indicated a 2000 Jeep SUV was traveling southbound on State Road 471 when it veered onto the west shoulder for unknown reasons. Upon doing so, 23-year-old Kodi Chamberlain overcorrected, careening into the northbound lane of the roadway and into the path of a 2007 GMC pickup truck.
