Phoenix, AZ—A tour bus filled with fifth-grade students was involved in a wreck with two other vehicles as the bus was on its way back to school after visiting Northern Arizona University. The collision occurred at the intersection of 32nd Street and Greenway Road around 3:50 p.m., as reported by AZCentral.com.

The Phoenix Police Department reported two sedans collided with one another at the intersection after one of the drivers, who was traveling southbound, made a left turn into front of the northbound car. The impact caused one of the cars to spin around in the intersection, hitting a tour bus that was stopped at a traffic light.

The Phoenix Fire Department reported three people in the two cars, two men and a woman, were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. None of the 40 students on board the bus were injured.

Police officials are conducting a full investigation into the wreck. No citations were issued as of yet. Another bus arrived at the scene to transport the students the rest of the way back to school, where their parents picked them up.
