Ohio SUV accident attorney alerts- SUV rollover involving a car and a semi truck caused fatal injuries.

Montgomery County, OH (News)—A violent three-vehicle crash resulted in two deaths and left three others injured on Thursday, March 4, 2010. A semi truck, sports utility vehicle, and sedan were reported involved in the 5:40 p.m. wreck, which occurred on Interstate 70, according to information provided by the Dayton Daily News.

Authorities from the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) allegedly reported a Chevy Trailblazer SUV swerved to avoid a collision with “slowed or stopped traffic” on the roadway, causing the SUV to veer into a tractor-trailer. The Trailblazer struck the rig as it was entering onto I-70 from the northbound I-75 interchange, subsequently causing the SUV to roll over a Toyota Camry, eventually coming to a rest on its roof next to a concrete berm.

Two people, identified as 22-year-old Sherri M. McNeal and 27-year-old Joey A. Gauna, who riding in the SUV at the time of the wreck, sadly suffered fatal injuries in the motor vehicle collision (MVC). Laura Velazco was reported driving the SUV while her father Daniel and his wife Mary were also listed as passengers in the vehicle. Emergency medical services (EMS) crews transported Mary to Miami Valley Hospital and two others, including the unidentified truck driver, to area hospitals to be treated by doctors and nurses. The Toyota Camry driver’s condition was undisclosed in accident reports. OSHP officials conducted accident investigations until approximately 9:30 p.m., leaving only one eastbound lane of I-70, near the crash site, open. Miscellaneous factors that may have contributed to the crash were not yet known.
