Wisconsin auto accident attorney alerts- Motor vehicle collision on Highway 41 caused both fatal and non-life threatening injuries.

Ashwaubenon, WI (News)—A multi-vehicle crash involving a semi, box van, and car resulted in the death of one motorist and left two others injured on Thursday afternoon, February 25, 2010. The motor vehicle collision (MVC) reportedly happened on Highway 41, also known as State Trunk Highway 41, at approximately 4:15 p.m., according to information provided by Fox11Online.com. Investigators are working hard to figure out how the violent wreck, which left behind no skid marks, occurred in the first place.

According to Brown County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Keith Deneys, “There was some sort of collision that caused a chain reaction between the three vehicles and sent both the box van and the sedan into the median.” All three of the vehicles involved in the motor vehicle accident were reported traveling southbound on STH 41, between Highway 172 and the Oneida Street-Waube exit, when the incident occurred. Reports stated that although little is known in regards to what prompted the crash, the box van allegedly rolled over on impact while the car somehow came to a rest in a ditch along the roadway.

Emergency medical services (EMS) crews responded to the scene to transport those injured in the three-vehicle wreck to area hospitals for treatment. The driver of the box van reportedly suffered minor injuries and was subsequently taken to the hospital. While the driver of the big rig was lucky enough to avoid injury in the wreck, the driver of the car, on the other hand, was not. The unidentified motorist’s injuries apparently proved fatal soon after the accident while a passenger in the car was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries. Part of STH 41 will be temporarily closed off to motorists pending an investigatory accident reconstruction on Friday, February 26, 2010. Details of the incident are expected to be underway.
