Motor Vehicle Collision on Interstate 75 that seriously injured woman involved two semi-trucks and one car.

Butler County, OH—A car driver involved in a motor vehicle collision (MVC) with two semi-trucks reportedly died of natural causes during the crash, reports the Middletown Journal. The three-vehicle wreck took place at 8:35 a.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2009.

A 1992 Mercury Sable, driven by Thomas Honerlaw, 50, was traveling north on I-75 at the time of the incident. The Ohio State Highway Patrol (ODPS) allegedly reported that the Sable hit a guardrail at the entrance ramp of the rest stop located between Ohio 63 and Ohio 129. The vehicle only came to a rest after rolling over and hitting two semi-trucks on impact.

Due to reported bad weather, medical helicopters that were initially called to the scene could not respond. Honerlaw was allegedly pronounced deceased at the scene of the horrifying crash. Emergency medical services (EMS) crews transported a passenger of the Sable, Julia Snowden, 62, to Atrium Medical Center in Middletown after she sustained serious injuries, including broken bones. No injuries were reported in regards to the semi-truck drivers involved in the wreck.

Professionals at the Butler County Coroner’s Office reportedly stated that the injuries Honerlaw sustained in the crash were not to be considered factors that contributed to his death. He allegedly died of natural causes though toxicology reports are pending.
