Minnesota automobile accident lawyers alerts- A fatal crash left several others injured in West St. Paul.

St. Paul, MN—Two people were ejected after their vehicle was broadsided as they were pulling out of a shopping mall parking lot. The fatal motor vehicle collision (MVC) occurred on Sunday, November 1, 2009 around 9:00 p.m., on Robert Street in West St. Paul, as reported by the Star Tribune.

A Chevy Cavalier driven by Fabio Dierings, 23, of St. Paul, with four passengers, was pulling out of a shopping mall parking lot onto Robert Street when the car turned into the path of a northbound Mercury Mystique. Two passengers in the Cavalier, Jorge Zuniga and Leslie J. Garcia, were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the vehicle on impact. Garcia was fatally injured in the crash, while Zuniga sustained non life-threatening injuries.

Another passenger, Kimberly Fuentes, 8, also wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and suffered a ruptured spleen in the wreck. The driver, and another passenger, Breidy Garcia were wearing their seatbelts, and reported back pain. Lynette Landrum, the driver of the Mercury, did not sustain any injuries in the collision. All the injured victims were rushed by responding emergency medical services (EMS) teams to Regions Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Alcohol did not appear to play a factor in the deadly crash. Police officials are reportedly investigating the collision.
