Michigan motorcycle accident lawyers- A crash involving a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a John Deere lawn tractor injured two people.

Detroit, MI—Two people were injured when a motorcycle broadsided a lawn tractor, as the motorcycle attempted to cross the street. The motorcycle crash happened on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 around 4:20 p.m., on Nadeau Road in Monroe, as reported by the Detroit Free Press.

A 1995 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by Michael Rowe, hit a John Deere lawn tractor driven by Lester Cosby, 68, in the eastbound lanes of Nadeau Road as he was going to his mailbox. Both of the men were ejected on impact of the crash. Cosby landed on the south shoulder of the road, and Rowe ended up on the north shoulder of the road. Cosby was transported by area emergency medical services (EMS) crews to South Shore Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Rowe was also transported by EMS teams to St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo for treatment. Both of the injured men are reportedly in stable condition at this time. Monroe County Sheriff’s Office traffic investigators are still trying to determine how the crash occurred, and stated the speed limit on Nadeau is 45 m.p.h. Police officials are currently investigating the wreck, and have not issued any citations in connection with the crash at this time.
