Missouri automobile accident attorneys alert- A New Beginnings Fellowship Church van crashed and injured 16.

Branson, MO—A church van crash left sixteen passengers injured, after the van ran off the roadway and flipped into a creek. The crash happened Wednesday evening, September 9, 2009 around 6:00 p.m., as reported by The Kansas City Star.

According to Hollister police officials, the New Beginnings Fellowship Church of Hollister van, which was transporting mostly children, veered off the road at the bottom of a hill, and overturned into the Kohler Creek. The church van was reportedly carrying two adults and fourteen children, all between the ages of 10 and 15 years old at the time of the crash. The driver of the van, and 15 of the 16 passengers were transported by area emergency medical services (EMS) crews to the Skaggs Hospital in Branson for treatment of their injuries. Thirteen of the victims were treated by medical professionals and released from the hospital. One of the victims was airlifted to a Springfield hospital for further treatment. Two others were also rushed by EMS ambulance to Springfield area hospitals. Reports indicated none of the injuries appeared to be life threatening. Hollister police officials believe wet roads and excessive speeds may have caused the wreck. Police officials are currently conducting a full investigation into the single-vehicle crash.
