Ohio State Highway Patrol alerts Ohio automobile accident lawyers- A crash involving a Chrysler Town and Country minivan injured five.

Toledo, OH—A single-vehicle crash along U.S. Route 20 injured five, when the car they were riding in tried to avoid another car stopped in traffic. The crash occurred on Monday, September 7, 2009 around 4:00 on U.S. Route 20 just west of CR 6 in Fulton County, as reported by WNWO NBC24.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a silver 2002 Chrysler Town and Country minivan was traveling west on U.S. Route 20, when the car swerved to miss another vehicle stopped in traffic. The van then hit a ditch on the side of the road, which trapped all five people inside the van. The driver of the van, Denver Nofziger, 72, and a passenger, Valerie Rice, 26, were transported by Life Flight helicopter to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center for treatment of their serious injuries sustained in the crash. Two other passengers, Nicholas Rice, 27, and Ashalyn Rice, 1, were transported by area emergency medical services (EMS) crews to the Fulton County Health Center, where they were then transported by Life Flight to Mercy St. Vincent for treatment. Another passenger, Evelyn Nofziger, was transported by EMS professionals to Toledo Hospital. The crash is currently still under investigation by the Ohio police officials.
