California personal injury attorney’s alert-A fatal rollover crash on Interstate 10 near the Arizona state line kills three.

Los Angeles, CA—A single vehicle crash on the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 west of Blythe, left three people dead and injured three others. The crash occurred on Sunday, August 16, 2009 at 12:25 p.m. about six miles from the Arizona state line, as reported by the Desert Sun.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) stated it is unknown what actually caused the single motor vehicle rollover on Interstate 10. The car is believed to have hit the center divider then rolled over. The wreck ejected one occupant of the car and trapped two other occupants inside the wrecked car. According to the CHP three occupants died, and two others were seriously injured as a result of the crash. Reports indicated there were children traveling inside the vehicle at the time of the rollover. Area emergency medical services (EMS) crews transported a critically injured victim by medical helicopter to a local hospital for treatment. Two juvenile victims were also transported by EMS personnel to a local hospital by ambulance for treatment of their injuries. Police officials say it is unknown what the relationships between the victims are. A full accident investigation is being conducted on the fatal crash by accident investigators.
