Florida I-95 rollover car crash leaves two dead and three seriously injured.

Orlando, FL–A two-car motor vehicle collision (MVC) took one man’s life and injured at least three other people on Saturday night. The News Journal Online reports the automobile accident took place in Brevard County, Florida at approximately 8:20 p.m. Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) state troopers say two vehicles were traveling in the right lane of northbound Interstate 95 when the car crash occurred. Edner Jean-Louis, a 49 year old resident of Palm Coast, was driving behind a vehicle operated by 47 year-old Doreen Mezzacappa from Melbourne. Brevard County area police officials state Jean-Louis’ vehicle somehow veered towards the right side of Mezzacappa’s vehicle. The front left of Jean-Louis’ vehicle then hit the right rear of Mezzacappa’s car. Jean-Louis’s vehicle left the roadway and rolled over a number of times before landing amongst trees.

A 25 year-old male passenger in Jean-Louis’ vehicle was killed in the rollover crash. His name was Carlhens Jean-Louis. Brevard County emergency medical services (EMS) team transported Carlhens to Holmes Regional Medical Center where doctors and nurses pronounced him dead. Carlhens was occupying the right-rear passenger seat at the time of the car wreck. Brevard County paramedics say three other passengers in Jean-Louis’ vehicle sustained major injuries. The three passengers were 17 year-old Dandley Jean-Louis, 13 year-old Steverson Jean-Louis, and 44 year-old Karine Jean-Louis. The driver, Edner Jean-Louis, suffered minor injuries. The occupants of Mezzacappa’s vehicle did not suffer any serious injuries. One passenger suffered minor injuries, while the driver and another passenger were uninjured. Police authorities indicate charges are pending.
