Nine workers were injured and transported to area hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

One of the movie’s stunt drivers lost control of a Ferrari in an action scene in Times Square. The driver slammed into tow pedestrians and crashed into a Sbarro pizzeria. Nicolas Cage, one of the leading actors in the Disney-production movie was not on the set at the time of either car crash. “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” is due out next year.
