New York, NY(JusticeNewsFlash.com)–Nine members of the film crew for Nicolas Cage’s new movie, “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”, were injured, on Wednesday, when an SUV crashed the movie set. A production crew, for the filming of the New York movie, was hit while they sat on milk crates on the Seventh Avenue sidewalk, underneath the Winter Garden Theatre’s “Mamma Mia” marquee.

The driver claimed, she crashed into a parked Jeep Cherokee SUV, when a New York City taxicab unexpectedly changed lanes. The Jeep Cherokee was launched into the crew by the SUV wreck. Nine workers were injured and transported to area hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
One of the movie’s stunt drivers lost control of a Ferrari in an action scene in Times Square. The driver slammed into tow pedestrians and crashed into a Sbarro pizzeria. Nicolas Cage, one of the leading actors in the Disney-production movie was not on the set at the time of either car crash. “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” is due out next year.
