Longwood School bus vs truck wreck injures 17 students, driver and police officer.  By New York personal injury attorney

New York, NY (JusticeNewsFlash.com)–Late Tuesday, around 5:30 p.m., a Longwood School District bus, carrying 17 students, crashed into a truck in Middle Island injuring the bus driver, the entire student body, and the driver of the truck, according to the Associated Press (AP). A police officer who was directing traffic around the bus crash was hit by a car.

According to police officers, in New York, the students were participating in an after school activity when the bus accident occurred. Everyone involved, including the traffic officer, were transported to the hospital by emergency medical personnel for treatment of their injuries. The truck driver has been hospitalized along with the police officer. No one has been charged with a crime and police officials are still investigating the crash.
