Dallas day care center abandons 3 year-old aboard school bus!

Tom Thumb School and Day Care leaves 3 year-old abandoned in school bus for the night. Report by Dallas Injury Lawyer Amy K. Witherite

Dallas, TX (JusticeNewsFlash.com)–The Dallas Morning News reported on Tuesday, a 3 year-old Tom Thumb School and Day Care toddler was found abandoned and locked in the school’s transportation van late Monday by his frantic mother. Ronnie Ross, a 3 year-old day care center student, was supposed to be dropped off, as usual, at his grandmother’s house at 6 p.m. on Monday. When Amber Ross, the young boy’s mother, arrived to pick up her son at his grandmother’s house he was not there.

The mother began a frantic search for her son eventually locating him locked in the school’s van, where it was parked for the night, at the Tom Thumb School and Day Care located in the 2800 Block of South Beckley Avenue. Dallas Fire Rescue was able to free Ronnie around 9 p.m. Monday night according to the Dallas Police Department. Detectives with the Crimes Against Children investigative unit, with the Dallas Police Department, are investigating Tom Thumb and may charge the day care center with child abandonment. The day care center is open and operating this morning as regularly scheduled.
